Free the Rikers 7 exists to unite We the People in the protection of rights that belong to every person, and to insist that no one loses their liberty without the process the law requires.

What we demand
- That every person held in connection with a civil proceeding be shown the order, the notice, the proof of service and the findings that authorize their confinement.
- That no person be jailed for owing money without a determination of present ability to pay and a finding of willfulness.
- That children not be separated from a parent without the process the Constitution requires.
- That government name its enforcement programs honestly, and account publicly for where collections go.
